Invasive species are a common cause for environmental damage and unstable ecosystems. Invasivor, a self-generated restaurant concept envisioned along the coast of North Carolina, aims to fight this environmental epidemic with a carefully curated menu of sushi dishes featuring locally sourced invasive species. The branding style and company stationary for Invasivor take inspiration from the restaurant's Japanese culinary influence, as well as several of the edible, invasive species who dwell along the North Carolina coasts. Aiming to encourage locals and tourists alike to consider visiting Invasivor, a pop-up event was created to feature local invasive greenery that can be utilized in a salad. The pop-up included a brief educational element on the invasive species being offered, as well as an additional stand providing dandelion infused drinks and a reusable straw kit giveaway. The final piece of this branding and advertising project centered on a digitally illustrated influencer box celebrating the native flowers of North Carolina, and included a brochure, seed packets, garden markers, icon stickers, and restaurant coupons.
