Coral reefs are one of the true wonders of the natural world and yet they are seeing a critical decline in both quantity and health, the International Coral Reef Symposium taking place in Auckland, New Zealand is hoping to bring people together to discuss this crisis and possible solutions. This project features a poster that plays with the similarities of the human brain and coral, while encouraging viewers to attend the International Coral Reef Symposium. The poster’s visuals were created by combining traditional art media like colored pencils, markers, and pens with digital photo editing and illustration.
